Re: "Nice job. What's the airstream there?"
The Airstream (actually an Avion) is my wife's project. She wants to turn it into her own private craft room after she guts and remodels the interior. I have little to do with it - but, of course, that's what she says *today*. The story will probably change later. We do most of our projects together.

As I'm sure you know, it's hard most of the time to do things by yourself, especially when two sides of something have to be lifted, or an item needs to be held while the other side is nailed, or hung, or sawed.

I should have dug out and leveled the base. 20/20 hindsight. I didn't think the slope was as severe as it turned out to be -- it's actually one of the most level areas available until you get ridiculously far away. Then I dragged the base over and got a dose of reality when I started trying to level it. Oh well. That base was extremely heavy and I really didn't want to move it again.

The shed is only where it is until our new home is built, hopefully in 2 or 3 years. Then it gets moved to Property #2. Good idea about the metal lattice, but I think most animals know how to dig. If they want to get under the shed, they're going to get under it no matter what. Maybe if I put in a metal lattice *and* pour gravel around its base...

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

It will make a swell new home for critters to live underneath unless you put some chicken wire around it to keep em out from underneath. OR you could get some ALUMINUM type lattice which won;t rust or decay like wood lattice and accopmplish same thing.

Can't beleieve you did not dig out the entire base to a level spot. I thought you might like to dig....... lol!!!!

Nice job. What's the airstream there?
