All I can do, Captain,
Is tell you what I been doing for over twenty years now. I been looking
for good, profitable companies that like to pay out the dividends, and
like to increase the dividends.
I also like direct stock purchase plans - because they do make it difficult
to buy and sell like a rabid raccoon.
I also think all us small investors need to look at the proxy statements.
Read the biographies of the board of directors, and vote against anything
that smells like a liveral or a hedge fund artist.
Buy good companies that have been around like, forever.
The Dividend Aristocrats are a good place to start looking.
