Hiya Micro.
I have three computers on the desk behind this one.
The newest one is running windows 7. And I like it. The second is running
XP - it gets ran once a week so I can update the database on it. The third
one (I think) has Windows 98 on it . . . and has not been turned on in years.
(The second oldest one is sitting on top of it. Makes the power on button
easy to reach that way.)

I tried Windows 10 . . . When windows 10 decided it just had to do an update
and shut down right in the middle of what I was doing . . . Well, I went back
to Windows 7 and haven't even thought about going back.

At work they make me use Windows 10 . . . and Office 10 . . .

Zim.

I'm just like you Zim.

I really liked XP Pro. I put SP 2 into it and stopped there. No more downloads and crap from MSFT going into it.

Worked fine..

When msft needed to make more money and started coming out with the newer windows software I knew eventually I would need to upgrade sometime. Windows 7 Pro is really nice. Not one blue or black screen, so stability is really great.

Windows 8 was a nightmare for anyone.

Windows 10? I have that on my new HP laptop and I am still trying to get accustomed to it. I don't take easily to change and I can re-install this windows 7 program on anyting if I need to. I can still do that with XP and I have SP 2 slipstreamed onto it.

Call it 'Back to the future" .

Take care!
