A small setback. Having gone through three laptops in the last 8 months, I received an error I'd never heard of: Maximum number of Office Installations exceeded. That's not a quote; I don't remember the exact wording. The bottom line for me is that my product key for MS Office 2010 will not work anymore. The software license puts some sort of cap on the number of times the product key can be used. %@#$! Oh well. I bought the MS Office 2010 disk at a yard sale last year for $1. Still, I'm a little bummed. Microsoft has given me 29 days before the application will stop working.

My wife is going to hunt for one of her old installation disks and product keys. I don't really care which version of Office I run so long as it works. Actually, that's not quite true. I like the older versions of Office better, if only because I know how to use them.
