I'm not very patient. I really don't consider Chrome OS to be a usable operating system. It's glitchy if you ask me. I have to struggle to get the drag bar on the right to appear. Screens often close when I'm trying to cut and paste from them or scroll downward. The default tabs in the browser only come up when the Chromebook has been restarted - they don't come up when I shut down just the browser and reopen it. That's annoying - especially when they sometimes close unexpectedly.

But the Chromebook is pretty good for linux (though it doesn't have audio support)... and it's good to have as a backup when the Windows laptop goes down.

As for the groundhog, its den is where the last one's was . . . and that means it will meet the same fate if it doesn't move. I'll put some rocks over the entrances to entice it to move. I don't actually dislike groundhogs; I just won't tolerate them when they eat my food.

My wife put out a bird feeder and, wow, has it ever been active. It sounds like a bird sanctuary out there today! Today is sunny and warm... likely to reach 70° for the second time this year. Everything has greened up and it is an absolutely beautiful day.

I'd hoped that the permethrin granuals I ordered would arrive today, but when I looked last night I found that they haven't even shipped yet. The ticks have made me reluctant to walk in the yard. We found one on the dog yesterday, and he hasn't even been in the grass. (His penned in yard is currently bare earth.) I do have permethrin-treated clothes and I think they must work. I planted an evergreen bush yesterday and didn't come back with any hitchhikers.

I also noticed that we've got a big new hole right where that groundhog was living last year, 
LOL!!!!!!!!! Critters. You have them in abundance my friend.. How will you be able to tell WHAT is in that HOLE? Are you going to dig it out? Put a stick of dynamite with a long fuse lit down inside?

The Seeds. Nice list of things there. I forgot aout the greenhouse. Great idea. You are patient growing tomatoes from a seed. That's okay as I know you are keeping things heirloom. You're just more patient than me.

Sounds like you are mrs. De are going to be very busy this week!
