I also noticed that we've got a big new hole right where that groundhog was living last year, 
LOL!!!!!!!!! Critters. You have them in abundance my friend.. How will you be able to tell WHAT is in that HOLE? Are you going to dig it out? Put a stick of dynamite with a long fuse lit down inside?

The Seeds. Nice list of things there. I forgot aout the greenhouse. Great idea. You are patient growing tomatoes from a seed. That's okay as I know you are keeping things heirloom. You're just more patient than me.

Sounds like you are mrs. De are going to be very busy this week!

I should have started my seeds a month or more ago, but since there's been just one day that hit 70 and many that didn't hit 45, I'm probably not too far behind the curve.

I started (in little disposable 6-pack pots) the seeds for:

o Burpee "Carpet of Snow" Alyssum flowers, 24#
o Burpee Happy Days Mix" Marigolds, 12#
o Burpee Chives, 18#
o Heirloom Fennel, 6#
o Burpee Basil, 6#
o Heirloom Dill, 6#
o Azoychka heirloom tomato, 3#
o Burpee Super Sweet 100 Hybrid tomato, 21#

It's only a start. I plan to grow a LOT of plants this year. The box of heirloom seeds contains 144 varieties of edibles. I hope to start them all in the next few weeks. Gotta fill that little greenhouse!

I also noticed that we've got a big new hole right where that groundhog was living last year, up against last year's garden. Not necessarily another groundhog, but that's the way to bet.
