No sir. I cannot think of a faster way and would not deprive him of that. My concern is the misuse of things like this to harm people and be used as a weapon or crash into Jet cockpit windows because junior is out playing next to an airport and can't control what he is doing.

Yes, I see and acknowldege the benefits when used correctly by good people. I also have already seen laser pointers used to create hazard to pilots trying to land at airports and I think to myself, what if MY WIFE is ont hat jet and it crashes? A little late then to say OOOPS! That was my thought process.

I know this sounds a lot like the far flung left gun grab but I do not mean it that way.....

Hope you can see my concern because too many times after things happen, we cannot simply go back and bring people's loved ones back from the dead..... But we could use some common sense ahead of time...

Micro > To follow your and Zim's logic, I would ask why we are not allowed to have certain explosive materials or buy plutonium?

If,
Our tyrannical government has M1 tanks . . .
How else are we supposed to stop them? Meaning maybe we
ought to be allowed to have certain explosive materials and
fully automatic weapons.

Lasers are very useful tools. From laser levels to laser
surveying equipment to classroom pointers. Drones are also
potentially very useful tools. Can you think of a faster way
for a farmer to check his fields? Or a cattle rancher to
check on his herds?

Zim.
