...I always enjoyed my spring limb burning experience. Sitting there in a lawn chair feeding sticks into the flames is comforting somehow. I also like to watch water running down a river or creek. Sometimes throwing a stick in and watching it disappear out of sight. A radio or somesuch with some pleasant music (not that noisy crap the capn listens to) makes it all the better. No computer, no cellphone, just mz ribit standing on the deck on the back of the house trying to get my attention and me pretending not to hear her. As Jackie Gleason would say, "How Sweet It Is!"

That's an interesting coincidence since I went out after the tournament to gather branches. It's 60° and there's no wind, but rain is supposedly coming in about 4 hours. Seems like the perfect time for a Spring bonfire.
