Re: "DO you Golf De?"
I own several sets of clubs, but I don't think anyone would call what I do "golfing" - LOL. I actually haven't played a round since 2005. I do, however, have a natural putting green near the creek and sometimes chip to it for fun. (If my house wasn't in the middle of the property, I could take a full swing at it from the back yard.) On the bigger property, I might do more if I ever feel that ambitious (which is doubtful.)

My Dad was an excellent golfer with a handicap of 3. He loved the game and passed some of that on to his kids. Mostly, though, I came to appreciate seeing golf on TV. Nice and peaceful... beautiful grass, water, birds singing... not unlike my front yard, 'cept my grass is still brown. Nowadays, watching golf means seeing it annually on MASTERS.com. I don't know if any other tournaments are freely available through the internet. (I'm not going to pay to get the Golf channel.)

Re: "I do not wish to be tethered to the computer, latop, or smartphone. I have a wonderful large screen t.v. that has a very large picture and it looks like an oil painting.I have a Google Chromecast. It lets me "cast" shows like the Masters tournament from my laptop to the plasma TV. Hulu, Netflix and Youtube don't even require the laptop since the Chromecast can pick them up directly over WiFi. A picture that has been cast is usually of superb quality... but it's dependent on one's bandwidth so your results may vary. $30 at Best Buy. I'm a bit surprised you haven't looked into it.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I have checked in and watched it on MAsters.com You are correct.

However,
I do not wish to be tethered to the computer, latop, or smartphone.
I have a wonderful large screen t.v. that has a very large picture and it looks like an oil painting.

MY man cave so to speak, only it is the Den. Miz micro took over the Living room and does not like my large screen television and I don;t like the stuff she wants to watch. I think she has every episode of every Hallmark sho memorized by now. I don't care much for what Hallmark has..

Being a golfer, I love this tournament. The Brits can keep that open of theirs. I don't like those old golf courses over there and would not play on them. Looks like cow pastures with lots of weeds.

THE MASTERS is the BEST Tournament far and away of any of them. The beauty is spectacular. I have too much arthritis to be able to walk all over those gorgeous grounds of theirs but would sure like to.

DO you Golf De?
