there was a lot of missiles in the ground in S Dak. driving along and there is another heavily fenced in gumpy area with the tip of the missile sticking up .....Remember that AS A KID.

...my father was a door gunner / radio operator on a B-17 and he flew numerous missions over South Dakota. Not one German or Japanese force got past him.

Those guys had giant titanium balls between their legs.  

...8000 american airmen in the 8th air force died in that war. That's a lot of good men.
