I can tell ya that Arkansans do NOT claim her. They wanted nothing to do with her then, and they don't want anything to do with her now. She originates from Illinois, and as a true carpetbagger, she cynically changed her allegiance to New York. Poor Arkansas had to suffer through her brief reign of buffoonery because one of its most notorious native sons had a bad habit of bringing home any diseased skank he came across.
