I appreciate your posting. Now that I'm retired, I'm more conservative with my investments. If the stock market pulls back a bit - a *lot*, actually - I may buy some of your stocks. Of late, I've been buying CDs. 2.8 to 3%. No risk.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I love dividend increases. Even if they aren't as
big as I'd like for them to be.

Coca Cola (KO) increased their dividend by about 2.5%.
(Hey, I'll take what I can get.)

Archer Daniel Midlands (ADM) increased theirs by 4.5%.
Better.

And Kimberly Clark (KMB) upped theirs by 3%.
(Better taste than Coke.)

Just so you know how much I pay attention to this stuff. . .
I noticed the increases when I was punching the dividends
into my spreadsheets - and noticed the checks was bigger
than predicted.

I take this as a validation that my investing strategy
is, well, paying dividends.
