When I was sellingoff things from my father's house, they had a pretty nice mid range Console piano that was maybe around 20 years old.

I made three phone calls to area Piano dealers who sell new and used pianos to customers. I took some close up pics and sent them. The one apologized he could give only $800.00 for it. I thanked him for taking it and checked back with him a few months later. He had sold it by then and made a profit because he did not have to do anything to it.

My brother who is very talented pianist has a steinway Grand in his house. He got it used. Very nice key action and tone. He is close to concert pianist ability. Hears something and then can play it.

Re: "Along with pianos and any kinda of furniture you can imagine..........all free.........."
When we moved, we decided to donate our piano to my son's high school. He said it was better than any piano the school had - except for one grand piano that was always used in shows. After a few days, the school district sent somebody over to check on ours. He took one look and said, "Nope. Too old." He didn't even care how it sounded! So we sold it cheap instead.
