NO not pressed wood. That is some quality stuff DE. Not sure why the finish is off the top. Has some nice inlays as well...........

Pressed wood, I assume? We had one like it - but with only 4 chairs - when we moved from house to condo in 2017. We couldn't find a buyer for the whole set, so we wound up selling the table and chairs for $50 and the hutch for $50. Made me feel kind of ill but my wife says that type of dining room set isn't the fashion anymore.
