I almost had that problem for real - when my wife and I rolled a ten foot piece of the bigger tree off the driveway and it kept on going, *ALMOST* reaching road below.

The shame of it all is that I'd like to have some big logs lining the side of the driveway - so as to form a barrier that might keep a car from falling off. But I lacked the equipment and the time to do that now. Too bad. When I want to take that on, I'll need to cut down some other trees and import the logs. These trees, which would have served great in that role, had to be sliced up and rolled out of the way.

On the brighter side, I called the utility company and told them the driveway is accessible... come on by! They said 'No problem. But the roads are still too soggy for our trucks. It'll be six weeks.'
