Just a few days ago, I was just telling a friend that I'll be shopping for a backhoe soon so I can "improve" my little pond at the other property. "Oh, you don't want to do that." he says to me. "Ponds are really tricky. Why, I know a guy who got his backhoe stuck in a pond and decided to pull it out with his bulldozer. Now there's a backhoe AND a bulldozer sitting in his pond."

Folks around here are really good at figuring out reasons I shouldn't do things. You'd fit in just fine.

...it's not hard to find people who have experience with lumber mills. They are usually called Stubs or Lefty or Old One Eye.
