The situation is hopeless.

I will have my mind hoping we will succeed , until the time I see we didn't , Then I WILL fight all I can. Best I can do, I guess..........No one will mess with my lil world here, WELL except for the helicopter that flew over today with his search lights on me.........I stared right at them as they flew over. I wish I had the mindset at the time to take a pic of them. It was white THIS time haaaaaaaaa True story..........

WTF????????????????????????"I was on a different forum this evening trying to explain to a conservative that what the president is doing violates the Constitution and that the Senate has no right to cede its responsibilities (to control the purse, in this instance) to the Executive branch. He protested, "But if we don't do something, we will lose the country!"

A noble and lofty goal. Sadly, I think that the country is already lost, and that's what I told him. The only thing that could possibly return it to its Constitutional, conservative roots is civil war, and that is a dreadful outcome I can't bring myself to wish for.

The irony is that I think conservatives would handily win such a war if only they would take up arms soon. But they aren't angry / scared / uncomfortable enough to do that. Meanwhile, they are being overrun. By the time they are angry / scared / uncomfortable enough, it won't matter. They will no longer have the numbers needed to win.

The situation is hopeless.
