What a great idea! If I had a smart phone, I would certainly look into this. I do think it's ridiculous though, that 63Red is marketing it as a tool to protect conservatives. Conservatives are strong people. They aren't afraid. Fear is the hallmark of a liberal. The way to market this tool is to say that it helps identify businesses that are not friendly to conservatism. It is useful in figuring out who to boycott and who to support.

'Yelp for Conservatives': New App Identifies Trump-Friendly Restaurants and Businesses

Fox News Insider

A new app functions as "Yelp for conservatives" and helps users find local restaurants and businesses that won't get political.

Scott Wallace, creator of the 63red Safe app, told the "Fox & Friends" co-hosts Monday that he decided the app was necessary after a series of Republican lawmakers and members of the Trump administration were harassed in public.

"We feel like there's a general unease among conservatives out there about whether they'll be protected and safe when they go out to restaurants and local businesses," Wallace explained.

He said the goal isn't to find places that are conservative or pro-Trump, rather those that lack a "political bent."

In one of the most high-profile cases, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was kicked out of a Virginia restaurant last June because she works for President Trump.

"Our aim is to get politics out of local businesses, local restaurants and make everyone feel comfortable when they go out," Wallace said.

He revealed the app gives users the ability to review an establishment and answer four questions to let fellow conservatives know if it's safe for them:

Does this business serve persons of every political belief?

Will this business protect its customers if they are attacked for political reasons?

Does this business allow legal concealed carry under this state's laws?

Does this business avoid politics in its ads and social media postings?

"We want businesses to understand that there's no money in politics and we're working to call them out on it," Wallace said. "There's sort of a general unease among conservatives, and we want to make sure that everyone's safe out there."

He revealed that this is the third app for conservatives developed by 63red, along with a messenger service and a news aggregator, and there are plans for much more in the lead-up to the 2020 election.
