Dear **********:

My name is Toby Marshall, and I am writing to you from Terrell Marshall Law Group PLLC. We are a law firm in Seattle that has brought a case against Amazon on behalf of drivers who deliver packages for Amazon but are paid for their work by a separate company known as a delivery service provider (DSP), such as Delivery Force, DASH, Jungle Trux, Progistics, Transportation Brokerage Specialists, and Revelation Delivery. You can read about the case, which is called Ortiz v. Amazon.com Inc., at this link on our website: http://terrellmarshall.com/delivery-drivers-class-action-amazon/. There you will find a general description of the action along with a copy of the complaint and some news articles.

The Court overseeing the lawsuit ordered Amazon to give us your email and other contact information so that we may contact you as part of our investigation of the facts. That is how we identified you as someone who has delivered packages in Washington for Amazon.

The employees we represent allege that Amazon is responsible for wage and hour violations drivers experience. These violations include failing to receive proper rest and meal breaks and failing to be properly paid for all time worked, including overtime hours. The employees claim Amazon should be held liable as a “joint employer” for back wages and other damages. We intend to ask the Court to certify the case as a class action so that we can represent all current and former DSP drivers in Washington who have delivered for Amazon at any time since December 20, 2014. If we are successful, we will ask the Court to award back pay and other damages to the members of this class.

Because you are a current or former DSP driver who delivered for Amazon in Washington, we would very much like to speak with you about your experiences in that position. We would also be happy to answer any questions you may have about the lawsuit. The discussion will be kept confidential unless you authorize us to share the information you provide to us. If you are willing to talk, please reply to this email or call 1-855-349-7023 and provide your (1) name; (2) telephone number; and (2) the best times to reach you during the week. We will then follow up with you as soon possible. Please allow us two to three business days to respond. There is no charge to speak with us.

If you would like additional information about the firms that are working to represent the employees in this case, please visit the following websites
