I just realized that the only nice liberals we'd all recognize are talk show hosts!) But these three aren't what I'd call GOOD. Good people don't stand stand around with their hands in their pockets as babies are murdered. They don't steal what others earned. Good people don't take more than they give.

"Nice" people, on the other hand, specialize in making other people feel good about themselves. That would be fine except for the fact that the others are are sometimes corrupt or indecent. Nice people are non-confrontational. For me, that's a failing to being nice.

What you say and what you do are two different things. The former determines niceness. The latter determines goodness. It isn't possible to do both well. At some point, being a good person involves taking a stand against bad people, policies and practices.

I'll stick with trying to be good and honest. Screw niceness. There's too much bad in the world to turn a deaf ear to it. If being nice requires platitudes that mask the truth and acceptance of others' corruption, then I want no part of it.

That's my lead-in to the fact that I don't think there are any good Democrats. Maybe there were - fifty years ago. But, these days, even if they are politically uninvolved, their mere membership in the Party constitutes support for horrible, thieving, money-grubbing, murderous policies and practices. How can you be a Democrat and be good? You can't.

It's pretty hard to be a good Republican too, btw, but at least it's still possible. Some Republicans have principles. Democrats don't even know what "principles" are. If they did, they'd be ashamed of themselves and quit the party.

THEY ARE GENERALLY GREAT DISAPPOINTMENTS.

MOST OF "THEM" ARE PRETTY GOOD LIARS, TOO.

EQUALS, LEFTIST FRINGE, There are a handful of good Democrats out there, and they are starting to see this $hit for what it is. A LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
