I saw that happen to my wife and son today. I was inside and they were in the van waiting for it to warm up. A gust shook the powdery snow from a tree across the street. It was like a truckload of small snowballs was being dumped on them! They had to get out and clear the windshield a second time.

Just don't be under the trees when they drop their load. The snow was in our trees for 2 weeks and when they let go it was like another light snow. Lot of snow hanging on the branches.....
