Agreed. Additionally, why should a doctor know how long medicines last? They don't make or test the stuff.

On-line, I've read that nearly all dry medicines maintain efficacy for 4 or 5 years as long as they're well packed and stored in a dry, cool (not cold) location. Some things - aspirin, for instance - will probably last forever.

BTW, I still haven't bought pet antibiotics. I need to do that. One day, I'm sure the government is going to block their sale.
