Kathy, Babe,
There are principles worth keeping. Sometimes the 'price of compromise'
is simply not worth paying.

For example, the liverazzis want to take away our second amendment
rights. Do we 'compromise' and let them take half our rights?
Knowing once they have sufficient authority they will take the other half?

Or do we stand on our principles, maintain our arsenals,
and shoot the turkeys once they get too brazen in their
attempts to enslave U.S.

Zim.

g/m ribit,

That was the point I was trying to make.
"......it's also that people are unwilling to listen to the other side and unwilling to compromise. Sometimes they have compromised all they can and neither will budge another inch......"

Meeting in the middle was my way of saying the same thing as you are: compromise.

In the movie, you can see how they both stood by their principles and ended up apart, forever.

So, they did compromise all they were capable of, and paid a heavy price for NOT budging another inch.

Smile))
