I was just reading this periodical about the "trans students" in school today.
There are assemblies once a week wherein the principals greet the children with a very upbeat "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!"
Did you know that was unacceptable?
So, this teacher who has a trans student, notices that he/she/it IS UNCOMFORTABLE.
They give a good list on how to handle it.
I made up my own list:
1) ignore the kid for 10 months;
2) beat the snot out of him/her/it;
3) if you're a female teacher, start wearing suits and ties, and stuff a large towel down your pants;
4) if you're a male teacher, start wearing dresses, high heels, make-up and try to kiss it with red lipstick;
5) keep a weapon in your desk;
6) read stories to them about how harmful being "trans" is;
7) Cite statistics about how many trans students kill themselves;
Spend a week or two talking about Bruce Jenner and how he was once admired; and how he is now dickless and living with another gurrrllll about 20+/ish WHICH MAKES HIM A LESBIAN.
I could go on, but that will get you started!
