Mom shot, killed 3 young daughters with rifle before killing herself, police say
KENT COUNTY, MI – Police say a woman shot her three young daughters with a bolt-action hunting rifle then drove them down the street to their home and turned the gun on herself.
Investigation showed that Aubrianne Moore, 28, shot and killed her daughters, Kyrie Rodery, 8, Cassidy Rodery, 6, and Alaina Rau, 2, on Monday, Feb. 18, Kent County sheriff’s Sgt. Joel Roon said.
Police said evidence showed that Moore killed her girls in a wooded area in the 300 block of 19 Mile Road NE in Solon Township. After the shootings, she put the girls into her car and drove them home to the 200 block of 19 Mile Road near Division Avenue. She got out of the vehicle and shot herself, police said.
Autopsies were conducted Tuesday and Wednesday.
Searchers found the shooting scene a day after the killings occurred. Police recovered the gun.
The mother suffered mental-health problems, according to Newaygo County Probate Court records.
She was paranoid, and had visual and auditory hallucinations, a social worker wrote in a Sept. 17 petition requesting her hospitalization.
“Aubrianne is keeping her kids home from school because the television told her there would be a school bus accident today,” the social worker said in Newaygo County Probate Court records.
"Aubrianne stays awake at night believing people will break into her home. Aubrianne is not eating believing food is being poisoned.”

...well da gubmint sure did a good job of lookin after this family didn't they. All that crap and nobody thought she might not be capable of taking care of children.
