I can see no reason that all states need to be working off the same calendar. I think in some instances individuals should be able to create their own. It was one of the ideas I thought off before I retired. I was gonna make every day Friday and thus payday.

we should take a few days away from February and July (arguably the hottest and coldest months of the year) and give them to April and September

I like this idea, but,in keeping with Arizona having its own time zone, I would like to make June, July and August each about four days long and put the rest in November an March when our heating/cooling systems usually get the months off.
