I've scheduled some repairs for the Virginia condo and so will be gone for most of the next week. The work will be done Tuesday, but my son wants to visit with some of his friends on Sunday and Wednesday, so it looks like Thursday is the earliest I might return. It comes down to the weather. If I'm going to encounter snow here, there, or anywhere in between, I'll stay another few days. I hate to do that to my wife... she'll be in NH by herself except for the pets (who are also the reason she can't come) and be saddled with clearing snow near the mailbox and creating a parking spot for the minivan upon my return. I think she'll be up to the task but she may find it harder than she expects. While I'm gone, she can use oil to heat the house, so there's no need for her to lug firewood in from the tarped stack. Maybe she'll have decent weather while I'm away... my fingers are crossed. But given that it snows every second day or so, good weather for an entire week would be bucking the odds.

I have no internet in VA except for my son's hot spot, so you may or may not hear from me in the days to come.
