I think it's completely plausible that a couple of white guys wearing Trump hats accosted Smollett at 2 o'clock in the morning in a black gay neighborhood where they wouldn't stand out at all and told him "This is MAGA Country. OH, you're that guy from Empire. We love that show." And then threw bleach on him.

Multiple sources have told ABC7 Eyewitness News that police are investigating whether Smollett and the two men staged the attack allegedly because Smollett was being written off of "Empire."
