White Castle has been around a very long time. It is a family owned company and every white castle is owned by the family, no franchisee.
They are headquartered in Columbus, Ohio and they actualy manufacture all of their own components for building the distinct Castle look of their stores in house.
The burgers are referred to as "sliders" because they are greasy and slide down yer throat. I could never eat them because of indigestion all night long..
Best to avoid them.
There is a fan following, a culture if you would of these things because the taste is unique.
So, just a little background on a family owned business that you either like or you hate....
In my case, I do not like them but to each their own...
