The forecast has changed again - to more snow and less ice. Good! Now the 19-hour storm only has three hours of freezing rain. The rest will be "snow" or "wintry mix." I'm not going to guess any more what it might add up to. Things change too quickly. I'll know tomorrow morning when the storm ends and I check the plastic ruler.

Our snow finally began 15 or 20 minutes ago (the first few flakes) and is now coming down heavily. My guess for the total is no more than six inches.

Unlike Beldin, I won't be testing the depth. It's just not that important to me.
