Because my parents had numerous children, when my niece asked if she could have graddad's car, we turned her down. Doing so would have required everyone's permission and wouldn't have been fair to the other grandchildren. We sold it to her cheap, though and split the proceeds among all of the siblings. If her mother then wanted to give her an additional discount, she was free to do so. My siblings and I were all good with that approach.

You have two daughters. If you give one grandchild a car, are you going to give the other grandchildren equally valuable gifts? Otherwise, your generosity seems like favoritism and could sow discontent among the others. If there are others, of course.

Hello!

It is on my next to purchase list and my wife will pick it up hopefully soon. If not, I canorder it from Amazon or Walmart and have it delivered. I got the Shrimp Scampi at Olive Garden, ate about six breadsticks, two platefulls of salad, and went home and was sick all night.

It tasted great at the time though... lol!!!!!
Way too much in my stomach and not accustomed to that.

I have lost 35 pounds so far and have another 25 to go to reach my reasonable goal. By then I will be in great physical shape weight wise and feel better as well.

So my days of eating foods that turn to starches and then sugars are very limited. Nice to have to buy new clothes because I need smaller sizes.

Wish I had done this five years ago.

That grandson of mine is one strong young man. He is really ripped and very strong. Good to have when I need strong young backs and not much mind for work around here I can no longer do.... lol!!!
