Good morning, nacl

I just hope these retirement/assisted living homes have been practicing good care for their patients so that when we end up there, they will have perfected everything.

I came here to see micro, as he is an early bird.

Hope the in-laws are doing ok. Quite an adjustment for the entire family.

Hope you're feeling well, too.

Take care - 'K

I am dealing with difficult decisions regarding my elderly father lately

It is always difficult when elderly parents need more and more care.

We moved my in-laws into assisted living in July. They do dress themselves and can make it to the dining room when they want to. But they are not drinking fluids and we had Pa in the hospital for dehydration recently. We are trying to figure out if more involvement from us would help.

In your case, it seems like you have gone over and above what anybody would expect. If the facility can help him with his needs, I think you should let them. If they can’t do what is needed, you may need to find another facility.

My prayers are with you in this difficult time.
