In Utah, it is the height of chivalry for a guy with a romantic interest in a girl to blindfold her when they are alone and hand feed her bits of cheese, chocolate, grapes or what have you. I know it sounds weird, but it's a tradition that must go back to the 1800s when the early Mormon settlers were literally starving and sometimes had to eat food that the insects had gotten into. It was actually NICE not to see the meal. And so it continues today.

When I moved to California and was a bit older, I explained this to a girl while we sat in my convertible at the lake looking out at the stars. She was confused but okay with trying it right up until I put some food against her lips - at which point she spat it out and started screaming.
Now there is a nutjob. She started screaming? WHAT KIND OF FOOD, OR BODY PART, WERE YOU PRESSING AGAINST HER LIPS? (no wonder she screamed!)

I love hot dogs! I do not like boiled hot dogs.
They taste like warm bologna and I don't like bologna.
