Your body adds additional blood as needed - pretty quickly, too. It takes about a month to acclimatize to Denver's lower O2 levels.

That may very well be true, but we only went one week at a time. I am trying to remember how many times we were there. Probably 5.
Maybe if we had strung our weeks together, we would have acclimated in that month.
My favorite city, believe it or not, is Savannah, GA.
You could take a ferry back and forth between there and Hilton Head, SC.
ahhh, the beach, the sun and the sand.
Savannah - very cool city.
