Sorry. Been gone. GHot home earlier today and because it is such a warm and pleasant day here I decided to work on my car and get rid of the Brake Squeek from my driver side front. I put new premium rotors and Wagner Ceramic Pads on the front brakes a few weeks ago.
Changed the hardware as well as the pads.
Left front has been squeeking every time I step on brake pedal....
What I did today was take the pads and caliper off and then applied a lot of Brake grease on the moving parts and the BACK of the brake pad that the Piston pushes against...
Took it for a ride and no noise... Quiet..... So I am happy camper.
Leaving early in morning to go to Hilliard again and meet with the engineering department there at the company and the procurement manager and production manager.
Hopefully this will translate into some nice steady business. Nice size company and only half an hour away from another large company I am curently orking with and transitioning over to my expertise. This is a half million dollar account..
So I will be gone awile. Heading over to my daughter's house nw for a little football dinner and watch a little of the game.
MY favorite team got the shaft from Umpires and side judges so I have no horse in this game. I don;t wish anything bad on the Rams, who should not be there but it is not their fault....
See y'all tomorrow sometime. Tuesday I go back to COlumbus with theother company and Wednesday to another city. All new accouts and nice ones...
