As for the built in shower seat... no thank you. If I ever get to where I can't take a normal shower, I'll just hire the girl next door to wipe me down with a sponge. I might do that anyway if my wife doesn't threaten to reciprocate.

I am only thinking ahead 10 years, even if just for myself.

Wider doors
Flip doorknobs instead of the traditional rounded ones;
Light switches with low lighting in them.
At least one access to the house without steps.
Built-in seat in the shower

I am sure De has thought of these, but to me, they are important.
