If you know exactly where you had traction problems last week, put a layer of rock salt down before it starts snowing.

I always got a layer of ICE under the snow, preventing me from ...........ummmm ...........USING THE BLINKER LIGHTS, hahaha!

Seriously, if you don't go below 20 degrees, the rock salt will help to melt the bottom layer and the tires move better on snow.

I hate it all.

He might want to let the country know that Mexico has just opened its border to yet another migrant caravan. He might want to talk about the ISIS terrorists who have been sneaking in. He could tell us that the furloughed employees will have to be SEPARATED from the government after such-and-such a date. It could be that he's declaring a national emergency and/or is moving military to the border. Or he wants to tell us that Nancy's refusal to give him $5 billion for national security has now cost the country $5 billion in shutdown costs - with far higher costs to come if she won't get off her butt and help him do what he took an oath to do: Protect the country.

One thing's for sure: We'll find out tomorrow. I'm going to be outdoors for a lot of the day getting ready for the snow - which is scheduled to start at about the time of the President's speech. If I can find the house, I plan to come back in and watch.
