Re: "As of today, the shutdown has cost the U.S. economy an estimated $4.74 billion. That's 84.6 percent of the cost of Trump's border wall."

Exactly. Soon, the shutdown will amount to more than the President requested. After that, far more.

Do you understand now why it is increasingly stupid for the Democrats in Congress to deny the President the money he needs? It isn't very much money, and the cost of the shutdown will grow, and grow, and GROW.

Before much longer, it is also going to hurt the Democratic party. The furloughed workers will eventually be RELEASED workers. When they realize that Nancy Pelosi cost them their jobs over a lousy $5 billion dollar wall, I don't think they'll be too appreciative.

Hey, how do you like this for a 2020 Campaign Slogan?

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
