Y'all's back-and-forth 'bout the horsepower of Mustang and Camaro engines made me think 'bout a show I watched for a few minutes when I was channel surfing the other night. It was a documentary 'bout World War I and this episode was specifically focused on the first tanks. I expect these cars weigh somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,500 to 4,000 pounds and have engines producing 700 to 1,000 horsepower. The first tank, the British Mark I, weighed 28 tons and was powered by a 105 horsepower engine!

...ya know I need a car with 700 or 1000 hp to go to the dunkin donuts to visit my girlfriend. Don't buy me anything right away. I will show her some pictures and see what she thinks.
