...my bro in law is a diabetic. He was in the hosp for a heart problem and they monitored his sugar continuously. Somebody gave him a diet coke and his sugar shot way up. Nurse told em don't give him anything that doesn't come from us or ya might kill him. We have been lead to believe that diet cokes were "harmless". Much the same way we were told that "filter cigarettes" were safe.
