Re: "I sure would like that snow LOL"
If you notice, you can see the individual rails on the flatbed trailer. So the snow is not deep. But it's heavy - or at least it was yesterday when I did most of the shoveling. Soggy, sticky stuff. That actually made it easier to clear since I pushed it with the shovel instead of scooping it up. The ice underneath made the work go quick. I was sometimes pushing the snow five feet ahead of my shovel. Whenever I had to lift though... wow. A *small* scoop probably weighed 15 pounds. A big one? Maybe 40.

Today it's a lot colder and that soggy snow has probably turned into ice. It looks nice and fluffy but I bet I could jump on it without breaking through.

I just hunted in the garage and pulled out a snow board and two snow board boots. Maybe I'll give it a whirl tomorrow. Too bad I don't know how. As you can see, though, the incline isn't very intimidating.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
