I am back and here among us again.
I drove back entire way and averaged around 74 MPH so I didn't waste any time. Only hit 95 a couple of times but did 85 - 90 more than a few for some stretches that were wide open.
I cannot speak of the services or the time spent there yet as it was very emotional and my heart is just grieving for my Uncle who is 92 and lost his wife of 70 years. They are both precious to me. I was her adopted third son. She was so loving and kind to all. In the small town where they live there were over 300 people aho came to the servie and viewing. She was a wondeful person and Heaven will be a wonderful place with her there waiting for me to come home along with my mother.
I have a vivid picture of how torn my Uncle was at the viewing and after the services when the dirctor was getting ready to close the casket. My cousins had to pry him from the casket....
A SAD, SAD time.....
Ribs, my uncle was a lifetime miltary man who worked with the Air Force behind the scenes. He was in Panama at the front taking down Noriega and in in Columbia more thana few times andover in the middle easton secret missions he could not tell anyone about. A special man. Humble, quiet, kind. Great Uncle. Always was good to me and my siblings.
I really feel for him in his loss of his wife.
My dad is declining slowly and steadily. I am seeing it daily. So I have plenty of things on my plate also.
If I am not around for days it is because of these kinds of things I am dealing with daily.
