Re: "With a current dividend yield of about 1.5% . . ."
Dividend yield is the annual dividend divided by the current stock price? If so, the low yield combined with a hefty annual dividend increase implies pretty good stock price growth. Nice going!

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I'm working on my spreadsheets . . .
And my McCormick stock has a column for how much the dividend has been
increased, year after year after year. In the last eleven years, the
lowest increase I have recorded was 7.5% - in 2015. The largest is 10.7%,
in 2011.

At the end of 2018 the increase is 9.6%. Last year was 10.6 percent.
The end of 2016 had a 9.3% increase.

With a current dividend yield of about 1.5% . . . MKC's dividend is a bit
light to me. But those increases . . if I live long enough and hold long
enough they might be buying me caviar . . some day.
