"probably just a little glitch"
In what some have suggested is a chained liquidation stemming from the collapse of AAPL shares after-hours, multiple FX pairs are flash-crashing across the globe amid still low liquidity conditions.
USDJPY just flash-crashed a stunning 4 handles (the biggest drop since 2009 according to Reuters) to its lowest in over two years, as the JPY was suddenly panic bid against the USD, as the pair tumbled from 109 to as low as 104.87.

Nothing about gold down almost $200 at 4pm PST on 12-30-2018. I was watching. An hour later the FX and spot gold had returned to within $1.00 of immediately before the drop. Interestingly all the graphs were mysteriously repaired to appear as if nothing had happened. Yet it did. What was it? For a while KITCO was pricing gold at the $200 lower level. Would have jumped in but no longer had an account.

saw that, freaked me out. Figured it was for real only to find out it was practice manipulation. Imagine the trades that would occur that happened during a trading time.

Quick, attack the price of gold before it gets out of control! The only safe haven that can be allowed is the US dollar. LOL.
Weird things happen when the market is controlled by computers, comparing algorithms, and their programmers attempting to predict human fears and paranoia, in a market where everything is upside down.
It's a big gambling game. Place your bets accordingly...and remember... the house always wins.

Total horseshit. The "they" waited until the futures markets were closed so that they could take FX accounts to the woodshed just like Soros did to the Bank of England. Soros wrote the book on that technique. Obviously it works over and over again. Especially in times of low liquidity. Once the suckers start running for the exits, the liquidity gets even thinner allowing for more bang for the buck for the "they". The average joe-retail doesn't have access to the OTC forwards markets. By the way, not buying the AAPL-pairs-unwind-explanation.

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.
