...ya can get a memory foam twin bed mattress rolled up in a box at walmart for about a hundred bucks. I got one in my office. It's a little hard but my grandkids sleep on it when they come to spend the night

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

My wife ordered and assembled a bed for Joey while I was in Virginia. It's a small single with drawers underneath - appropriate for this small house. She and the boy went to town together to shop for a mattress but came back empty handed, declaring all the mattresses in the store to be insanely priced. Consequently, we're awaiting a mail order mattress that should arrive in a couple of more days. Joey, meanwhile, is sleeping on the futon in the living room. That's also where we have the Christmas crown-of-thorns and the dog's bed.

Santa arrived early this morning and happened to be carrying a long, white package that the dog was certain he'd be beaten with. The dog fled in abject terror, yapping his fool head off and driving poor Santa off post haste. There's no telling whether the boy woke with all that commotion. But if he didn't, it means he's comatose. Pray for him, guys...

IF we don't get all the presents for Christmas that we were supposed to, this is likely the reason. Thanks a lot, DOG.
