I woke up from a nap around 9:15, came out of the bedroom and my wife immediately asked me if I smelled gas. "Yup," said I. "It smells like natural gas," she opined. "Nope," I said. "We don't have any natural gas. And it smells like gasoline."

I set out for downstairs. One other time, our snow blower began to spontaneously leak and that's the case tonight as well. Earlier today, I had to pull a pick out from next to the snow blower and that must have set it to leaking. Unfortunately, since the leak is sporadic I don't know the cause. I'd guess a hose. I do know from the last time that once the thing starts dripping, the whole tank eventually drains. %@#$! In any case, once I have a shed, that's one gadget that will no longer inhabit the space beneath our living quarters.

It's 30° and we're venting out both the upstairs and down. The temp inside is now 59°.

Whew, that stuff stinks and I've got a headache from breathing it in. Nice way to end a Christmas Eve.
