War does seem to be the norm for our species.
The history of humankind has been a succession of
wars, conquests, empires, etc. etc. etc.
Since the end of WWII there has been a never-ending
succession of 'small wars'.
Korea. Vietnam. The Russian adventure in Afghanistan.
Endless violence across much of Africa. Saddam Husseins
invasion of Iran. The non-stop attempts by various
islamic countries to eradicate Israel. Pakistan
versus India. The list just goes on and on and on.
