Indeed. As we approach Christmas, I cannot help but pity the many Americans who allow themselves to be consumed by vitriol. We have so many sad, hate-filled people in our country. Americans were never hateful people. As we all know, though, for many that is no longer the case. This is part of why I maintain that many Americans no longer possess American values. Our society has changed - and not in a good way.
