...if they are going to do it, Jersey is a good place to start. If they started in Texas they would change their minds relatively soon afterwards. They gotta pick a couple of easy sstates first so they can tell how easy it has been and how cooperative people are and how they seem almost grateful to have the terrible burden of high capacity magazines removed from their confidence. Wouldn't suprise me if we were inundated with video of people standing in long lines to turn em in and save the state the trouble.

The entire purpose of the gun magazine ban, of course, is to make sure that innocent citizens are unable to shoot back when the government sends gun confiscation teams on door-to-door raids, gunning down citizens and taking their firearms by force.
