It's Friday and that means I get to take my 90 year old father to the doctor to have some blood drawn and ME for my first visit with a new family doc. I fired the last one. Could not stand the pushiness and his attitude.
This one is a female who I have talked with, my wife has seen twice now, dad once, and now its my turn.
She is personable, actually talks to you and listens. She does not insist on doing things that you don't want to do and I like that as well.
I need a relationship with my doctor just like I had for over 25 years with my family doc who retired about a year ago. So I am looking forward to taking my dad along and for me seeing her.
I will take a pneumonia shot as I am prone to pneumonia having been hospitalized multiple times with it. I am all in favor of NOT getting it again...
Forget about the Flu shot. It ain't happening. We go through almost a gallon of hand sanitizer a month here keeping germs and bacteria dead on our hands so we don;t transmit to face. That seems to work well. I have not had influenza in a very long time except for Noro virus which we managed to get together a couple years ago....
Anyway, wishing all a great day andbe sure to THANK GOD for the DAY HE made and allowed you and I to enjoy and live in! HE is Lord...
My best,
